Grace Visiting Nurses

Mona Claiborne, Administrator
Mona began working for Grace Visiting Nurses in 1996, although her working relationship with Grace Visiting Nurses began earlier when she worked for a local computer company and sold Grace Visiting Nurses their first computer network (consisting of 3 computers).
When Mona began work for Grace Visiting Nurses, it was in the capacity of Information Technologies director. Some of the staff at the time wondered what Grace Visiting Nurses would ever do with a full time IT person on staff; however, it wasn’t long until they realized how under-utilized their network and computer systems were. Mona implemented shared network drives, email, forms generations programs, scheduling programs, shared network printers, education for staff on various Microsoft office applications and much more. As the years went by and Mona learned more about the home health business, many new tasks were added her job description. The new tasks were compliance and regulatory related, such as assisting with policy revisions, being a member of the Advisory Board, and assisting with organization of the annual agency evaluation.
In February of 2007, Mona completed the requirements to become an alternate administrator, and in June of 2007, she completed the requirements for Administrator. Mona was named as Administrator of Grace Visiting Nurses by Aubrey D. Keith, effective July 1, 2007.
