What do I do at Grace?
I am the assistant director of nurses at the Jacksonville Office
How many years have you been with Grace?
I began working for Grace in 2002 as an LVN field nurse, and then went part time with the company to go back to school. In 2006, I accepted a position as the RN pediatric case manager for Grace; then was promoted to the assistant director of nurses’ position. Overall, I have worked for Grace 6 ½ years.
What do you like about working for Grace?
I like the fact that our staffs works together well to care for the patients. The company is small, but very rewarding. I’ve always had opportunities to learn and grow with this company.
Describe your most rewarding or satisfying experience since you started working for Grace.
I would say the knowledge and experience I have gained while working for Grace. The company working with me so I could go back to school to become a registered nurse.
Why did you choose nursing as a profession?
I like helping others
What is your perfect day?
Spending the day with my husband and children.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?
I don’t feel that any of my jobs I’ve worked in the past years are more interesting or rewarding than Grace.
What are your hobbies?
Spending time with my husband and children, going to baseball games, fishing and camping.
And finally what is something unique that most people don’t know about you?
There is not much or anything that people do not know about me.
