What do you like about working for Grace?

The focus is the patient care. We have a very supportive staff who emphasizes team work and compassionate care.

Describe your most rewarding or satisfying experience since you started working for Grace.

Being a part of the healing process, both physically and emotionally; when wounds heal and patients can return to their previous livelihood, or when the elderly are able to continue to live at home.

Why did you choose nursing as a profession?

I have always wanted to be a nurse.

What is your perfect day?

A day that includes a nap in the middle of it =)

What do you consider your greatest skill?

My compassion and empathy while performing nursing skills.

Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?

I worked at Easter Skills Society Developmental Day Care as a teacher for toddlers- 1/3 of my class was disabled. The interaction between the different children was fascinating.

What are your hobbies?

Sewing, camping, community activities, swimming, and crafts.

And finally what is something unique that most people don’t know about you?

I have lived on an Indian Reservation.
