- The employees and work atmosphere. Everyone is like family. We are focused on the ensuring patients get the best of care.
- Why did you choose nursing as a profession?
- Actually prior to becoming a nurse I had never been around or worked with sick people. I was 17 with a GED and my dream was to be a truck driver. I tried to enroll in truck driving school and I was literally laughed at. The only program I was eligible to enroll in at that age was nursing- if I could pass the entrance exam. So I took the exam- passed and was accepted into the LVN school. About 6 weeks into the program I realized “hey I really like this” so I buckled down and completed the program becoming a LVN.
