I am a case manager, RN for adult skilled nursing.

What do you like about working for Grace?
What I like working for Grace is the family atmosphere. I felt like I fit right in from the start & everyone was so helpful… and still is…with whatever I need. Grace is also very family- friendly & allows flexible scheduling to allow me to be able to be involved when I need to with children at school.
Describe your most rewarding or satisfying experience since you started working for Grace.
The most rewarding experience would be an overall feeling of satisfaction when a patient is admitted after surgery & by collaborating & coordinating a care for team nurses HHA, & therapists we expedite the patients healing process therefore enhancing the patients quality of life.
Why did you choose nursing as a profession?
I chose nursing because I wanted to help improve the quality of life for the elderly, sick and disabled.
What is your perfect day?
My perfect day is when I can go see my patients- turn whatever problems happening into a positive- and leave their homes knowing I have made a difference.
What do you consider your greatest skill?
I feel that my greatest skill would be that I am able to be open & honest with my patients whether it’s a positive or negative situation & help my patients make the best decisions for them.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve had?
The most interesting job I’ve had was working for hospice. I would get to be a part of some of my patient’s lives from the beginning of their diagnosis until they took their last breath & I know that I made their transition of comfortable as possible.
What are your hobbies?
I like to watch scary movies, scrapbook, & spend time outdoors playing, or doing projects with my family.
And finally what is something unique that most people don’t know about you?
Well, I got married right out of high school to my husband & had 2 children before I went to college & was able to raise a family, run a household & go to college & be able to graduate successfully as a Registered Nurse.
